I have always been fascinated by graphic novels as another way to tell small tales of people that reflect wider society. I love the skill in pacing and framing, the use, or not, of dialogue and the visual delight of showing some things and leaving others to the imagination.

I am currently working on a, mostly autobiographical, graphic novel of a walk my daughter and me did in the Outer Hebrides with the fabulous mentoring support of Rachael Ball. It touches on issues of the landscape of Scotland, walking, eating disorders, autism and family love and support.
